Sattisorru.com Best choice for your taste

As an Indian born, Satti sorru (literal translation : wok rice) was a thing that we (my mother, brother and i) fight for at every lunch meal. I am sure many of you can relate to this phenomena in your house. For those of you who don't, let me give you a brief descriptions on how these amazing "Satti sorru" works.

After cooking every gravy dish  (be it chicken curry, fish curry, sambal ikan bilis (anchovies spicy relish), etc) the balance curry on the wok that did not get into the serving pot, is then again mixed with hot rice and tossed with the curry until every grain is coated. This mixed rice which will now look like "fried curry rice" is served separately to the lucky one! (siapa cepat dia dapat ~ the rules in my house, at least). It used to be our favourite dish as it simply gives an amazing feeling while eating Satti sorru. The myth is : Satti sorru or wok rice is tastier than the real dish of the same curry and rice eaten without giving a toss in the wok.

Many people don't get this Satti sorru opportunity at home due to too many siblings wanting it or parental sabotage (which my mum is best at) to either eat herself or wash the wok without Satti sorru-fy-ing the balance curry.

WORRY NO MORE !!!!!!!

#SATTISORRU.COM came up with a brilliant idea to make this simple daily skirmish in a household into a food business where now everyone can enjoy this unremarkable dish at any day.

#SATTISORRU.COM operates at two locations for now :

Menu :
#Sattisorru has variety of menu to choose from.
They maintained the authentic home cook taste by individually cooking every meal order. Their secret recipe is scrumptious and the claypot cooking makes the dish full-flavoured.

They serve, chicken, mutton, prawn (my favourite), quail, wildboar (at Loke Yew Branch only) and fish #Sattisorru dishes. The latest being the Sotong dish!
while the curry is cooking
We ordered wild boar (pic on left) and Prawn (pic on right).
It was simply amazing as it was served in a hot claypot straight from the stove, fresh and tasty. It brings back old memory of the home cooked "satti sorru".

We also ordered their side dish Quail fried.
Personally i don't eat quail, however my husband gave it a 4/5 rating.

The banana leaf piece on the plastic plate they serve says a lot of their effort to keep the authenticity of the "cuisine".

This great idea and business belongs to Vinod (pic) and his partner Sri ( he was not at the shop that day).
To Vinod and Sri,your creativity and courage have led you to this great venture and i have every reason to believe that your hard work and perseverance will to the success of this business. Congratulations and good luck to you two.

To the rest of my readers, please do try it... you will want to have more!!
